Ohhhh Canada!
Here in Halifax we are a proud people, years ago, they added this Canada sign to the Halifax Waterfront.
During the winter months, I get super lucky to be able to catch the sun coming up through the frame. Combine that with the blue sky and it was am amazing shot.
This print would be great for anyone who wants to show their Canadian pride.
The shot can be purchased in different sizes. When you click on the drop down menu it will change the pricing on each one.
If you live in Metro Halifax, please reach out before purchase as pick up / drop off may be an option.
Also if you are looking for multiples please reach out as well.
* The colours online may be a little different than the ones that you actually receive, I try to ensure that the print is as close to what you are seeing here, however it may change a little in the printing process.
How we see it
The On a Halifax Pier collection features photos from both sides of the harbor.
“How we see it” is a photo taken during Sail GP in Halifax in the summer of 2023.
It’s a playful twist on the idea that Dartmouth is known as the “dark side” of the Harbor, but for those who are from the Dartmouth side, we see it differently.
I hope you enjoy the shot!
Go with the Flow
The Go with the Flow was an artwork that was made by Kristen De Palma of KDP fame.
This work was on the Halifax waterfront for one summer, it was one of my favorite pieces.
Kristen let me take this photo and put it up for sale.
This would make a great piece for an office space or anywhere people need to go with the flow.
I love this piece myself because it reminds me of when I get in the Flow State to keep going.
On A Halifax Pier
Welcome to On a Halifax Pier, a reflection of the soul-stirring beauty of Halifax's waterfront. Inspired by the legendary 'Barrett's Privateers' and a personal journey of resilience, our site is a tribute to the city's rich maritime heritage and the breathtaking moments captured at the break of dawn.
If you were to have told me four years ago that I would be considered an artist, I would have belly laughed in your face. |
Little did I realize that the Pandemic would change my life so much. I started walking the Halifax Waterfront after our dog passed away, and I haven’t stopped since.
The morning walk generally starts at the hill where Ryleigh and I would play every morning and through the Halifax Boardwalk to the Lower Deck and back. Over the past four years I have collected so many awesome shots. On A Halifax Pier is a combination of the best of the best. Prints are available of all of the shots on the site. |
